I absolutely love my belly sculpture. The blue finish was a surprise when I unwrapped it, yet it perfectly captures the essence of this pregnancy in which water and the moon featured prominently. I love having this beautiful, tactile, permanent reminder of those wonderful nine months of my
life.

I didn't know what to expect, but the finished sculptural art piece surpassed any expectations. It is absolutely beautiful! So special, creatively and emotionally to me. What a perfect way to remember the experience of giving life. I think this is my last of four pregnancies, it reminds me of them all. Every woman should be so lucky to have such a wonderful testimonial to their unique initiation into motherhood as these sculptures are unique in themselves.

I am absolutely thrilled with my belly cast! It's even more beautiful than I anticipated. I was very interested to see how you would interpret and decorate it. When I saw the spirals, I was amazed to see that you picked up intuitively on a major theme for me in this pregnancy. In fact, when I was 3 or 4 months pregnant, I made some birth art & drawings that featured a womb radiating with lots of colourful spirals and looked very similar to your design on my cast!

Dear Caroline,
 
While I was pregnant I felt in tune with nature, I was filled with wonder at the magic of my body and I felt as special as all women who have ever had a little being growing inside them. I felt protected like I was wrapped in never ending spirals of love.  This casting sums up all of those things.  My casting is an everlasting touchable moment in time. It gives so much more than a photo ever could. One glance or stroke to take me to a time when my baby was cocooned inside my body, growing in his little bubble and how much my belly stretched to hug him safe and warm.  It makes me want to celebrate all the bumps and marks on my body, it reminds me each one has a story.  I love the colours and textures of the earth that you have captured in my casting.  It could not be more perfect.  Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!
